Shrimp and Corn Bisque
Slow Cooker Shrimp and Corn Bisque
-3 cans whole kernel corn, drained
-1 can cream style corn
-1/2 yellow onion, chopped
-1 stick butter, cut into chunks
-8oz cream cheese, cut into chunks
-3 cups milk
-1lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
-green onions for garnish
Combine all ingredients except shrimp into slow cooker, using 1T Mexi-Cajun Seasoning. Cook on High for 3 hours.
In meantime, season shrimp with Mexi-Cajun, cover, and refrigerate until ready for use.
After 3 hours, add shrimp to slow cooker. Cook additional 20 minutes or until shrimp are pink and cooked thru. Taste test; add more seasoning to taste, if necessary.
Serve hot, garnishing with chopped green onions
